after i saw this from Dana, (RED WORDS)
Your drills will be added on. ( Those who did not go to cheer camp, please work on these within the next few days before practice okay?)
1. Sit Ups : 30 x 2 sets.
2. Push Ups : 20 x 2 sets. ( Bases. {Supporters are considered bases kthnx} ) 15 x 2 sets.( Flyers )
3. Hand stand walk.TRY to do about 20 first, if you think you can do more, slowly add on to your ability. ( stand with your back against a wall, place your hands infront of you as if you would a handstand and slowly walk up the wall so you can get into a handstand position. It doesnt have to be straight, but make sure someone is there to make sure you dont fall and injure yourself. Remember, safety first. Anyway, thats a handstand, BUT handstand walk is when you transfer weight so its like your marching on the spot, just that you're using your hands) The hands stand WALK is mainly for BASES so FLYERS do NOT need to do the walk, but EVERYONE has to do the handstand. it doesnt matter if it isnt straight, but make sure you go as far as you can. (for your tumbling!)
4. Hang drill. FLYERS, this is for you. Use tables, your siblings whatever as if you were hanging on a stunt.
Hang there for 10 seconds each (Tahan please) for FIFTEEN TIMES. So all together, you should hang for about 2 minutes plus. :D
HANG AH. DONT CHEAT.
5. Lunges. BASES, this is mainly for you for your leg strength. BUT FLYERS, should do this too as it helps ALOT for jumps.
Lunge like how you would for a lunge when you stretch only you jump up from a lunge and swap legs. Can understand ah?
So its like, right lunge, jump up, left lunge, jump up, right lunge. and repeat.
Bases should do 30 x 2 sets.
Flyers should do 15-20 x 2 sets.
